Jan. 9-10 - SEOUL
After she got painkillers, E started nodding off and we finally got to leave the hospital. After so much stress, I was tired too, and we did a lot of sleeping that afternoon and night. The next morning,E's eyes had improved literally overnight, and her vision was mostly restored.
After a day full of administrative tasks (travel insurance, re-booking flights, etc), I took a break and wandered around our hotel. I took a lot of snow photos, which I thought contrasted beautifully with the bright signage.

I stumbled into a really large park on a hill, full of exercisers and families. It was really quite charming, and great decompression after all of the stress. Here's a photo from the walk back to the hotel from the park:

E's finally feeling up to traveling again, and the next day was traveling to Hong Kong via Beijing.
